Tonight, the Chicago Bulls defeated the Toronto Raptors in a close game at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. In attendance was the Raptors’ Global Ambassador: Drake. With just 25.8 seconds to go and the Bulls up 106-103, Bulls guard Justin Holiday attempted to inbound the ball (something you get five seconds to do, or else you get a 5-second violation and the other team gets possession). Unfortunately for him, Drake was right there courtside jawing at him, which may have caused him not to get the pass off, leading to the turnover. It’s not clear if Drake’s chatter really did get to Holiday or if it was just good Raptors defense, but the commentators at least noticed Drake’s presence. Last month, Drake coached Team Canada at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. His team won, and Win Butler snagged the MVP award.
